Welcome...
to the 2012 ITE Midwestern District Conference and TRB 4th Urban Street Symposium website.

We are excited to announce a joint conference with the Institute of Transportation Engineers- Midwestern District and the TRB 4th Urban Street Symposium. This joint conference brings together meetings from two organizations that have greatly influenced transportation policy over the last decade.  The technical resources of the conference will be further enhanced with the participation of the AASHTO Technical Committee for Geometric Design.

Planning for the meeting’s technical program is well underway. The program will include three days of presentations, technical tours, panel discussions, TRB Committee meetings, and small-group conversation circles covering a broad variety of topics. In addition to the excellent technical program conference activities the conferences will host the 4th Annual Collegiate Traffic Bowl, a Jeopardy-style completion of student chapters from regional universities.

As a break from all the excellent technical presentations, join us for a baseball game or take a cruise on Lake Michigan, dine in an award winning restaurant, or learn about Chicago’s architecture on a river cruise. The Children’s Museum, Navy Pier, and the Lincoln Park Zoo are all excellent places for family fun.

See you in Chicago this June!
